This is (in my opinion) one of the best genuine budget EDC blades on the market right now.
It''s light, smooth, comfortable both in hand and in the pocket, 3 opening methods, flips great, features excellent lockup, ball bearings and a deep carry pocket clip.
I'm not even talking about the unique grind and an awesome Tighe designed lock, that works great!
All pros, almost no cons, except 3 - because it came in a blister packaging - it had a very strong burned plastic smell in the beginning (had since disappeared). One more is the handle scales - if they were made out of Aluminium - the knife would be simply fantastic! And one more small thing - the pocket clip screws come to the other side (a small thing, that doesn't affect the knife, but shouldn't be there).
Overall I'm very pleased with the knife, especially for the price.

What are the scales made of? Plastics. Or more exactly FRN, (Glass)Fiber Reenforced Nylon. Still plastic. It's the only button lock folder in the budget range I know of besides the Real Steel Griffin. Usually the Griffin is around €60 here, I got a great deal on ebay for €40. Brand new but the package was damaged a bit on the inside. I can live with that and the knife is really great. The needle bearings feel more pronounced than the usual ball bearings but the blade falls freely from its own weight when you push the button. The screws' surface is turned which gives them a nice look, and they are flush with the aluminum handle. It was the sharpest knife out of the box I ever handled and it holds this edge really well, nearly on par with my ZDP189 bladed Spyderco Caly 3 I only had to add a lanyard because it's a bit too slick to get it out of the pocket, some milling in the pocket clip would be cool. And that's the only other point I'd maybe mod some day, to mill out the handle from the inside. Just some circles till the middle of the scale's thickness would be enough I guess. Before I do so I'll try that on the Ganzo 753's cf/G10 scales P.S. If there will be a Tighe Tac Alu some day then I'd maybe grab that one, too

I love Brian Tighe custom knives but can't afford them. Most of us, mortals, can't I won't probably ever pay this much for a knife anyway.
