That Kershaw looks sick man, you are taking this to a whole new level! Thanks for the pictures! Thank you I especially like the lock side above the pivot. The material is a carbon fiber/glass fiber laminate for orthopedic stiffening with 3 blue layers of glass fiber and 2 layers of cf. After sanding down to the 2nd layer it seems that I used a scrap piece from the side of the sheet because it shows "loose" threads of carbon fiber. At first I didn't like it, now I think it makes it even more unique like a discoloration in a piece of wood. Want to see some laminated leather? Too bad that the paint on the clip was closer to spray paint than a real coating. I wanted to etch in the scull but the ferric chloride just washed of the paint. Never seen that before.

My EDC for the last few days was the Reate Horizon D clone. Love the silky smooth flipper.

Why not the Chinogorov for a while? Soon I guess I'll re-anodize the handle. I was thinking about flame anodizing to get transiting colors in the arc, maybe magento to gold, and blue-purple-bronze on the surface. Hmm, not before xmas I guess, so many other projects waiting to be done beside real (family) life

It's the first try so of course it's not perfect, but I'm quite satisfied (more than with the actual knife, the Wave opener is something absolutely useless to me as even dual thumb studs like to open up when I get the knife out of my pocket. This is the raw material, glued stripes of leather made to repeair faux leather heels. Funny thing is that now when I look at it it's the same idea as my 90deg turned carbon fiber as they had to glue thick croupond leather and then cut it into thin sheets. I don't like the light stripes on the surface, that's where the epoxy didn't soak in enough I guess. If i'd ever do that again I'd use the vaccuum method for it like they do it for orthopedic casts on job. Btw, the raw sheets for the EL-01D are ready

Amazing work as always adahn! Personally I like the stripes quite a lot, in any case it shows your incredible talent! I am in the middle of moving to a new job, once I am settled the EL-01D will be on its way!

Amazing work as always adahn! Personally I like the stripes quite a lot, in any case it shows your incredible talent! I am in the middle of moving to a new job, once I am settled the EL-01D will be on its way! No hurries, I'm off for the next 2 weeks anyways, it was just a good time to prepare it last week. I even bend the cf on a last used for other stuf but I think it will be difficult to see as the last was a bit too big for that. Maybe some other day I'll try it a bit more. Actually I want to make a knife stand from carbon fiber, just not sure how exactly. I'm also looking for a nice little all steel folder to try some other etching techniques (Vault-Tec and Vault-Boy logo) but only the SRM 710 seems to be available with big enough all flat handles. There's some other ones but I really dislike tip down carry (like on the 710 btw) and it must be disassemblable (is that even a word ) and cheap. I've found the Navy K-503 which would fit the bill but it's not available anymore. Maybe somebody has an idea for me? (No all steel Sebenza please, only if you find one without the CR logo.)

Today I picked something small for a change: Fake Dragonfly. Tiny but scary sharp!

SRM LAND 910 Plus. I really like this knife, even more as it was $21 -$10 coupon. Ball bearings, great f+f, my knife of the month I guess I should've skipped the Ganzo G-7533-CF, this one in Fininshed the first modification, new scales to follow. before chamfering Now some testing for the weeks to come, I hope the clip will last.

adahn, stellar work as always but that tenacious begs for one of your CF custom clips!

adahn, stellar work as always but that tenacious begs for one of your CF custom clips! I came up with that idea but my co-worker thought that's too much carbon fiber on one knife I would have liked a glowing spot in the middle of the clip though, but again, the "customer" said, thanks, but no thanks

Thank you. I thin SRM should consider to make a G10 single liner version of the 910+ (liner lock or frameock, both are cool), the showscale is thick enough and the ball bearings offer enough stability. The cf/G10 laminate would suit well, too...
