I got this small knife 2 years ago for under 6$ from AE simply to bump the price of my purchase over the 20$ minimum. It is branded as Microtech 324 but while it has some elements that lean on Microtech designs, to my knowledge no such knife ever existed from that manufacturer.
The skeletonized stainless steel handles are just under 10cm long and are big enough to get a decent grip unless you have very large hands. Fit & finish is nice, everything lines up perfectly with no sharp edges or points. Due to the construction of the handle, the knife only weighs 85 grams. The right side tip down only clip is nicely made and lets about 20mm of the handle protrude from the seam.
The 2.2mm thick clipped drop point blade is 3Cr13 steel, flat ground and came shaving sharp out of the box. Edge retention is not really good but is honed easily and quickly. Due to its small size and the very strong detent, opening the knife one handed needs getting used to. The blade moves smoothly, has no play in any direction but sits slightly off center when closed without touching the liner. The liner lock is quite thin but engages solidly. The blade geometry is very useful, with the clip point and the belly it is a great little slicer and stabber. While this knife is too small and flimsy for me to be used for work, it is a great utility knife around the house and my wife really likes it for cutting out paper templates and stencils.
While it is in many ways just a small cheap knife, I am still pleasantly surprised how well it performs due to its unique blade shape. The clip point combined with the pronounced belly and thin blade stock make this knife an amazing slicer and cutter. If you are looking for a small, lightweight knife, this could be a good option especially if you don't want to spend $. This knife is certainly not one I couldn’t live without but it is useful and get things cut and after having used it for some time I like it enough that I would buy it again.
