I always liked the design of this particular DireWare model and when a clone popped up a year ago on AE I took the plunge for just under 65$. When the knife arrived I was not disappointed, look and feel is flawless and the blade was shaving sharp. The knife was delivered with a nicely made zipper pouch for storage. The knife comes without any markings, logos or other inscription but is a close copy of the original, the most obvious differences I was able to detect being the pivot screw and the thumb studs. The handle is comfortable but not an ergonomic masterpiece. As far as the finish goes, both sides look perfect but on the CF side I had to take a few light flie strokes to the jimping as the edges were quite sharp. On the Ti side, the large clip tends to flex under the grip and that can feel awkward. The blade is advertidsed as D2 and I am happy with the sharpness I achieve and how it retains it. Out of the box the action was good, after I cleaned and lubed the bearings it got even better. At 4.5mm it is a hefty blade but the knife balances perfectly at the finger choil. The blade is dead center when closed and the frame lock engages with authority at about 35%. This is a knife that I like very much but rareley carry because it is too bulky and at 222 grams quite heavy too. But it flips great, looks and feals great and it puts a smile on my face everytime I use it. Far more a toy than a tool to me, I am still very glad I bought it.

That is definitely a beast. Reminds me of a Proelia I had. I loved that knife but I would end up with my britches down to my ankles with it's weight.
Looks like it would almost impossible to harm or destroy it.
