I bought the Sanrenmu 9063 from Fastech in June 2015, paid just under 16$.
The knife is identical to the Sanrenmu E963 except that it has no markings on the blade and is half the price. I was drawn to it for the simple, slightly angular design and I was not disappointed. The knife looks really nice and fit & finish are perfect.
The advertised G10 handles are quite thin keeping the knife nice and slim (only 13mm thick) with a good texture that gives ample grip even if wet. They fit perfectly and despite their edgy appearance are very comfortable in the hand, no hot spots. The pocket clip is right side tip up or down, when inside a pocket about 11mm of the knife protrude from the seam. The ample jimping on the handle continues into the spine of the blade and provides solid grip without sharp edges. A lanyard can be attached through a generously sized hole.
The drop point blade is made of 8Cr14MoV, hollow ground and has a very nice swedge on the spine towards the point. The ambidextrous studs are doing their job, the blade opens smoothly but needed a tiny bit of adjustment, has no play in any direction and is perfectly centered. The liner lock engages solid, so does the detent. The blade stabs well and is a good slicer due to the relatively thin blade stock. For some reason I find it harder to sharpen than other knives but I usually get there, edge retention, while not the best, is acceptable.
I use the 9063 at work for cutting materials like rubber and plastic hoses, polypropylene and nylon rope, stripping wires, slicing bags, scraping metal surfaces, light prying and similar tasks. It has performed to my satisfaction and I would not hesitate to buy this knife again.
