I have been after the Reate knife for the longest time and pulled the trigger on the Horizon at $99.
Anybody else made a knife purchase on Black Friday?

It was between the Reate Event Horizon for $99 or the HTM Darrel Ralph Madd Maxx 4 for $109.95. I have the HTM Kirby Lambert Snap but the HTM quality was not up to my expectation.

I didn't order at 11.11 but a week later for a job student. www.fasttech.com/products/9535600Less than $30 with a construction and the quality of a $50 Sebenza clone (on ball bearings though). Had to remove some chips and sand off the edgy flipper tab but for that big guy who receives it it's perfect. Next year I'll anodize it, plan is dark blue for the deeper and light blue for the higher areas. The other trainee sometimes "borrows" the knife from the drawer just to flip it open, "It's soo smoooth" with a grin on his face. This one is on the way for him: www.fasttech.com/products/1901/10033078/9617915I'm very much considerng to buy this one, only the $7.70 shipping to Switzerland is holding me back atm. www.gearbest.com/pocket-knives-and-folding-knives/pp_1441456.html
